  1. Q: Which is the best route on Kilimanjaro?

A: It depends…on you. Kilimanjaro offers a range of routes to the summit, which vary in degrees of difficulty, scenic beauty and climber traffic on the route, so if you are considering taking up the challenge, carefully select the one that best suits you.



  1. Q: Can I hire climbing gear in Tanzania?

A: Yes, you can hire all equipments. But, we strongly advise you to travel with your own special climbing boots, because you may miss the proper size or quality of the boots on hire. Or you may get fitting boots, but give you a pinch due to several reasons.



  1. Q: Is it necessary to book for an extra day on the mountain?

A: It is advised by professional Guides that anybody who spends an extra day on the mountain will acclimatize and get a big chance of reaching to the top.



  1. Q: Which age is proper for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro?

A: Between 12 years and above. No limit, depending on the health condition. Children between 8 – 11 years may climb up to a 1st or second station. Not recommended for children to go up to the summit.



  1. Q: Which is the best time to climb Mt Kilimanjaro?

A: You can climb all year round except April and May, due to heavy rains.



  1. Q: What will happen to my payment if I climb for a few days and descend?

A: Your payment for Mountain climbing is non-refundable, i.e. Park Fees, Meals, crew salary, hut/camping fees, rescue fees, etc.
