We just came back from an incredible journey to Kenya and Tanzania. I already loved Hellen  before I went on the trip and just trusted the safari was going to be amazing. I am always on the go and hard to pin down on phone, so Hellen took the time out to write the longest personalized emails to me, and after a few exchanges, she had planned out a safari that incorporated three different camps, all unique and based on the interests I had expressed and all eco-camps, supporting our desire to have an intimate and conservation-minded experience. After a great itinerary had been reached, I threw a wrench in it with my request to go to Kenya, and it was accommodated within one day.

KSTT guides knew every aspect of my itinerary, even the part that was to be conducted by third parties. They took care of me until when we parted at the Kenyan boarder, when they handled me to Kenyan Guide.

The safari could not have been more perfectly suited than this, a once-in-a-lifetime memory. I mean, there is nothing more I could have asked for. There are some vacations during which you feel you get your money's worth. The safari that Hellen planned out for me was, as the commercials say, priceless- I felt honored to be able to share the beauty and humbled by the people, animals, and land. And after talking to other safari-goers, I can HONESTLY say that the people/animals/places I had the chance to experience were unique to what Hellen was able to arrange for me.

I feel like Dan is more like a friend than a travel agent. In fact, as I was coming home, I felt a stronger urge to share the experiences and photos with him than with my family/friends b/c he would understand the absolute life-changing nature of the experience- and I think that is why Nina and Dan do what they do. You can see the love they have for their work, and that is why they do it flawlessly!

Upon reviewing KSTT’s Travellers recommendation for best travel consultant for Africa, (April 1994), I decided to call Hellen at Kilimanjaro-Serengeti Tours & Travels Ltd (KSTT). She took a great deal of time to speak with me about my desires in organizing trips for traveling to Africa. She explained that she didn't really work with those kinds of group package tours before, but she was happy to help me further in choosing the particular trip that would be best for me. She went on to review many company offerings, explaining the best time of year to travel and the highlights and best lodgings of Tanzania and Kenya countries. She then explained that she knew some agents who could be of a great help for me in conjunction with her Agency. At the beginning I was a bit worried, but I read about this company in a Lonely Planet, a famous book which writes various tourist information, where they highly recommended Kilimanjaro-Serengeti Tours & Travels for Tanzania safaris and Mount Kilimanjaro climbing. I decided to sign a special contract with Hellen to be handling all my groups from Reisebuero Beier (Germany). I worked with Hellen, his husband Attar Gupta, his best guides James Keny, Justo Mtui, Brian Mawishe as Chief Guides for 8 years, until when I was unable to continue due to health problems. I advice other operators to work with people like Hellen. I never received any complain from my group leaders. The KSTT crew is very carefully selected, friendly, honest, punctual, experienced, etc, etc. I sometimes sent clients who were handled before money transferred were cleared, without any stress and clients couldn’t even notice any problems. Hellen and Attar were there on arrival at Diani Beach Mombasa, where we hired African Safari Club flights from German to Mombasa. After Kenya Tours, they took us to Tanzania for Mount Kilimanjaro climbing through Marangu route and Machame or Rongai. After climbing we had one resting day, then we proceeded to Ngorongoro and Serengeti tours. We splited our groups according to inerests. Some went to Zanzibar Beaches, some went for Wildlife Safaris. At the end we travelled back home, by same African Safari Club flight.

We wanted to let you know about the wonderful trip we had to Tanzania this in September arranged by Kilimanjaro-Serengeti Tours & Travels Ltd. We were referred to them by friends and our trip exceeded our expectations. Hellen spent an hour with me on the phone when I called for information, asking me questions about our interests and what kind of accommodations we would be comfortable with. A week later we received a beautifully presented itinerary. Hellen was always available for questions and responded immediately to emails.

We loved all our safari camps - Tarangire Camp, Simba Camp (Ngorongoro) and Serengeti. We had wonderful safari drivers. All our travel went so smoothly, starting when we were met at Kilimanjaro International Airport Airport by a Driver/Guide Mnzava, and including all our transportation within Tanzania. We had imagined that this would be a strenuous and tiring trip, it was actually one of the most relaxing vacations we have had.

We hope to go back to Tanzania and will definitely use KSTT  to plan our trip.

As a woman pilot in Austria, I used to travel a lot. I was booked to accompany a group to Tanzania, where we used KSTT as our planner. We were a group of 12 climbers, all of us went on a wonderful 6day Kilimanjaro climbing Machame route, 4 days safari and 3 days to Zansibar. The planning by Hellen and crew was incredible. The hotels we stayed at were all unique. The drivers/guides were probably the best part of the trip. Everything about the trip was very well planned. The food during mountain climbing were amazingly good. You couldn’t expect to get 5star service on the mountain!!!!  The weeks leading up to the trip were a bit anxious so we had a lot of questions for Hellen. She promptly responded and made us at ease. Her suggestions for packing/baggage were also on the mark. I would have no reservations either recommending or using their services again. It could not be better than this. Well done KSTT crew. Wonderful.

I offered Hellen a trip to Austria later, where I was very much surprised by her quick learning how to Skii. She cooperated well and she made it. She also did wall climbing by rope. We actually had a good time with her. Please, use KSTT for your happiness while in Tansania.
