KSTT Ltd, have good number of professional tour Guides (Safari) as well as Mountain Guides who will take you to different places in Tanzania and the rest of East Africa as well as different routes along Mount Kilimanjaro. Our tour and mountain guides speak English and other foreign languages such as French, Spanish and Germany. In regular basis we train our guides on how to take care of the tourists as well as alpine. For the tourists who choose to go for a safari or beach holiday they are welcome to meet our compassion that our tour guides have towards you and the environment surrounding your tour. They know exactly where and when to take you for an adventure of your lifetime. Unlike normal safari tour guides, our mountain tour guides who operate on Africa highest points have an extra special training. This training is mainly due to the high altitude situations. Each mountain guide especially Mount Kilimanjaro guides are trained much to learn your situation and if they see any problem they will encourage or advice you accordingly. The aim is to ensure that the clients are safe and are enjoying their mount climbing experiences. In the incidence of mountain sickness Kilimanjaro guides will take you down to the point where a relief can be obtained as quickly as possible.  According to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park Authority, only licensed companies for trekking Mount Kilimanjaro are allowed to take climbers to Mount Kilimanjaro. Not only that, also Kilimanjaro climbing guides are supposed to be licensed as well. KSTT being one of approved Companies for handling Kilimanjaro trekking has professional, patient, and experienced Mount Kilimanjaro trekking guides who assure your successful climb and safety to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and other high peaks in East Africa. Addition: How many guides/assistant guides are on your Kilimanjaro climb? If you are with a large group there is always the need to have enough guides/assistant guides to keep an eye on everyone. This is essential at higher altitudes!  Larger groups invariably split up due to different walking speeds and fitness levels. Nobody should be out of the view of a guide for long periods. If someone experiences serious symptoms of altitude sickness, this needs to be recognized IMMEDIATELY, and the climber has to be given the necessary treatment IMMEDIATELY. It may entail bringing the patient to the lower altitude for safety. In this case, a qualified guide needs to go with him/her. Cutting costs by cutting down the number of staff can be dangerous. Cutting costs by skipping on training can be dangerous. The responsibility of a climbing guide is huge. Hint: There is no miracle or a departmental store that sales Mount Kilimanjaro guides license. Becoming a Mount Kilimanjaro guide means hard working. In the first incidence Mount Kilimanjaro guide has to work on the mountain for years before he can be recommended to undertake guide’s training course. First step: The career of a Kilimanjaro guide starts from becoming a Kilimanjaro porter, and stay a porter for several years. Their duties are to carry climber’s bags and other facilities such as cookers, food and other things but should not exceed 15 kilograms. By default porters do not go to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, normally they end up on the last camp or hut before the summit day. Second step: To become a guide means you want to be a leader and a good leader is the one who works harder. He will continue to act as a porter for sometime and also act as supervisor making sure that everything goes well to   climbers and staff. As a step up the leader’s name changes from porter to assistant guide. From there it is only one more step to become a licensed Kilimanjaro climb full Guide: Aspirants have to complete the training course that is held by the Park Authorities. We prefer to be honest in this. If you feel very sick, do not bribe your Guide to carry you to the top, as it may cause serious effects and/or death.
